The Transactions page is your go-to screen for managing all financial activities. Here, you can add new transactions, search for specific entries, or apply filters to easily navigate your transaction history.
- Transaction list
This page displays a complete list of transactions that you’ve created or imported from your bank. Every time you log in, the app fetches the latest transactions and updates the list. To ensure accurate financial reporting, reviewing and assigning appropriate categories to newly added transactions is important.
Adding a new transaction
Transactions from your synchronized accounts will be loaded automatically. However, if you would like to add a new transaction manually, you can do so by clicking the floating "Add" button at the bottom of the screen.
- Five transaction types
Our app supports five types of transactions, tailored to cover all financial scenarios:- - Income: Money earned. Can be split into multiple categories (e.g., salary and bonuses).
- - Expense: Money spent. Can also be split across categories (e.g., groceries and home goods).
- - Transfer: Moving funds between accounts or exchanging currencies.
- - Asset: Significant purchases (e.g., property or vehicles), treated as investments rather than expenses.
- - Debt: Borrowed or lent money, with the option to assign a specific contact to track who owes or owns the debt.
- Notes for transactions
Add notes to any transaction to provide additional context or details when needed.
- Split transactions
Income and expense transactions can be split into multiple categories, allowing precise allocation. For example, if you spent $300 at one store but $200 was for groceries and $100 for home goods, you can assign these amounts accordingly.
- Search and filter options
- Search: Look up transactions by merchant name, category, or account.
- Filter: Use the filter button in the top-right corner to refine your view by date, account, category, merchant, amount, or transaction type.
