This widget simplifies budgeting using the popular 50/30/20 rule. Once you set your “Planned income”, it automatically allocates:
- 50% for needs (housing, groceries)
- 30% for personal wants (dining out, entertainment)
- 20% for savings (emergency funds, retirement)
- Expenses refers to the total of all your spending, including both needs and wants.
Our app allows you to label categories as 'Needs' or 'Wants' in category settings, aligning them with the respective sections of the widget. Also, you can mark accounts as "For savings" in account settings to track transactions, contributing to your savings goal.
You can set different allocation and customize the 50/30/20 rule based on your financial goals.
Click "Needs", "Wants" or "Expenses" for a filtered pie chart. By clicking on "Savings" section, view transactions used for the calculation.
