Income and expense transactions can be split into multiple categories, allowing precise allocation. For example, if you spent $300 at one store but $200 was for groceries and $100 for home goods, you can assign these amounts accordingly. 

Additionally, you can split the transaction not only between different categories but also between different contacts. If you assign a certain amount to a contact, this action will automatically create a debt for that contact for the amount entered.
